Welcome Sez. There are (usually) monthly meet ups out at a private property @ Leyburn. I'm not sure of the address details, but I'm sure others will be able to advise. It's a good place to meet people and learn. Everyones really friendly, and you get the chance to look through others scopes, eyepieces, you name it. Thoroughly worthwhile imho.
Do you know what sort of scope you got? Is it a refractor, reflector, what sort of mount did it come with? Where did you buy it from?
