Depends on how far south you are at the time. For instance M81 and M82 are only visible if you are north of 20 deg S.

Perth is 31 deg S so M52 and M103 won't be visible. M97, M102 and M108 would be pretty unlikely - they only get about 4 deg above the horizon.

That's still over a hundred you have a chance of seeing.
