I had a similar problem a couple of months back with a DSI Pro II which I fixed by reloading the windows drivers.
When the DSI is connected to the HUB, can you see it in the Windows Device Manager (under System in the control panel)? If so, I would try deleting it from the device manager (just highlight the device and hit the delete key). Then click the "scan for hardware changes" icon at the top of the device manager window. THis should see the DSI and reload its drivers.
