Who remembers when the Mini won the Race that was great. Cant remember what year it was had to be in the 70's. I remember when I was in school when it was the on the Friday before the race weekend all the boys and some girls at our school would take our matchbox cars to school and run the cars down our schools front footpath that ran from the front gate down to the parade ground and the car that got there first were and the owner were hero's to the whole rest of the day.
