Lunar Crash

Not knowing how close the relevant crater was to the rim I got up at 2:30 am this morning and took about 40 images of the South Pole of the Moon. After 5 minutes the fast moving pretty white cloud left the Moon in a clear sky low in the north, up 27 degrees. Worth getting up just to enjoy the beautiful sight of the Moon in the early sky.
My hope was to catch signs of the impact in the crater.
No pain no gain.
