Hi Greg, the tool menu in EOS utility can do it, if you want to plug it into your laptop, but I have power issues so it's usually not pracical. Instead, I use an intervalometer and an 8GB Flash card.
The only reason I have 8 seconds between shots is to allow a bit of a safety time for each image to load into the card from the buffer. Never had a problem yet.
