I originally purchased it to mount the Lunt solar filter on, but the filter adapter plate is not a very firm fit so I stuck with using the filter on my ed80. The objective cell is marginally larger on the ed80.
The optics appear to be quite good though I haven't formally tested the scope. I tested two zoom eyepieces I have at 60x on the moon (testing them for solar observing) and differences readily showed up between the eyepieces, with detail in the mountain range along one side of the Alpine Valley only visible through the Lunt zoom. If I get a clear night before the scope sells I'll do a proper check for various aberrations.
