I have never been farther south than 30 Degrees North, I have heard the sights of the Southern Milky Way are fantastic, Is what they say about the Jewel Box cluster by the Southen Cross True? That it is a very Magnificent sight in a small APO refractor. Some day I will have to go south to see these sights, I used to read all about them in Sky And Telescope over the years, as Walter Scott Houston said the Southern Skys Got all of the Good Stuff! My Questar is fully capable of being used in either hemisphere.
