Cheers Guys but your just encouraging another doctor story from me.
How's this one. Go to the doctor, he tells me to go get an xray and an ultrasound. Costs me $180 for the scans, go back to the doctor, they then want $70 for the first visit and class the return visit as a second consultation, so they want another $70. Hang on, I have not had a diagnosis or treatment plan from the first visit. He sent me to get scans to verify the diagnosis. That means $140 for a GP consultation..
Would you pay that? Medicare pay $33 for each consultation. I think the AMA is pushing the odds.
