I was feeling a little guilty when I grabbed this series of shots, late in the afternoon, as a Japanese visitor, accompanied by a local guide, had been sitting patiently for a couple of hours with a Canon pro body, a Wimberley Head and a whopping big 500mm F4L and the male bird refused to come down!
As we were returning from the café area, I had the 40D and 70-200 fitted and the bird fluttered down and did a bit of renovation for a couple of minutes and then shot off again. Alas, our Japanese visitor had left by then!
