hi mick. iv'e been told the focuser is upgraded,but the optics are EXACTLY the same. lots more dollars for focus and finish
.hunt around and you'll pick up an(old gold)ota for around 400-500 compared to about 1200 odd. i paid 399 for mine, and i cant tell the difference in image quality
