I have quite a nice little trailer that, although not fully enclosed, can be towed behind the car quite safely. I find the wife and kids fit on that quite nicely. They have complained when the weather gets a bit rough, or the road is a bit bouncy, but you just have to accept that you can't please all the people all the time. Some people will never be happy
