I use it on a 5" newt and on an ED80. It's a good all rounder. As Alex said spacing is critical so I got a telescopic adapter made so I can vary the spacing depending on which scope I'm using it. The official distance from the CCD place is 55mm. On my 5" newt I use it close to 53.5mm as for the ED80 I use it closer to 56mm.
