Price reduced again!!!!!
Bump and price reduced to $5000. Does not include the guidescope pictured above or the wedge.
I now have the GSO 8RC and G11 on my pier, so this one has to go unfortunately. The views through it are exceptional, the best goto scope I have owner for quick setup visual observing. The scope performs well at deepsky imaging (see my website for images), and great for planetary work as well. If you're planning on long exposures a focal reducer is probably a must (I was heavily oversampling my pictures), I have the AP 0.75 setup as well if you want that (takes scope to f/6, FL about 1500mm), will cost extra though. A new 10" LX200 will set you back $6k, save a grand and get an arguably better scope. I have never had any focus motor problems with this scope, the solution is to use a power supply with plenty of overhead. The handbox is a bit beaten up, but still works well, it's missing the little red piece of plastic over the IR LED and has a chip in the corner.
Cheers
