Thanks Leon. It wasn't hurting me, and it wasn't going to hurt me trying to at least give it a happier and safer final hours of life. Yes, it was a "vermin", but I tend to treat animals the same way I treat humans. I find most other humans are callous and uncaring - if it isn't human, the attitude is "who cares", and it's very sad. Life is life, whether it's human or not.
