This is a no brainer...50mm *aperture* vs 250mm...I pick the latter...but it wasn't because it was an F2 (though that would be cool....who makes such a neat optic?)
How about we do the numbers the another way? ie.
250mm aperture 500mm FL
2.5metre apetrure say make it 7500mm FL
