Hey, Stuart, if you can see a planet through a scope, then you can take it's piccie with one. One thing that annoys me is the snobbery that's in some quarters of the amateur astronomical community about what "type" of scope is best for what imaging. Sure, some scopes are better than others at doing different jobs, but that doesn't mean you can't take good images with the others...point "proven" right here. Great piccies, mate. Take more planetary shots with the RC, it's a great little scope
