Don't use the Quick Reply box at the bottom of the thread.
1. Click "Go Advanced" at the bottom of the thread
2. Type your message in the box,
3. Scroll down and click "manage attachments"
4. Choose the picture file(s) on your computer to upload, then click upload
5. Click "close this window"
6. Back in the original screen, with your message, click submit reply
Now let's see some d@mn pics!
