For me each image run has its own folder, which i expect most of us do.
All the Raw images from the 5D are saved in their respective folders and also saved to an external hard drive as well.
The processed files are also stored in their own folders and in tiff format.
What happens after that is not really a big deal as the original Raws are always available if some thing were to go wrong.
