I have a 12" SW Collapsible Dob and was looking at fitting a Telrad. The secondary mirror housing on my scope is 19 cm in length (between the white bans) while the length of the Telrad is listed as 21 cm, which means -it don't fit.
Looking at photos of Telrads, the base appears shorter that the actual unit. If anyone has a Telrad, could they give me the measurements of the base, or if anyone with a 10" or 12" Collapsible SW dob and a Telrad, how is it mounted?
The Telrad web site and they give dimensions of the unit as:
Length 21.3 cm
Width 4.7 cm
Height 12.7 cm (mounted on base, no base measurements)
Weight 30 gm.
