Matt, Jupiter reach opposition in August and is now well past opposition. Imaging it will continue for some time yet though.

Trevor, I think my best image this year is the image from the 16 June. The detail is much sharper and more detailed.

Hi Paul,
Just having a look at my October edition of AS&T, congrats on the very nice Jupiter image, sharp as with some stunning detail, it is a shame that the mag reproduction makes the limb so dark. I noticed that Greg, in his editorial also used one of Birds Jupiter Images, also a knock out, but also reproduced with an exceptionally dark limb. Does this mean that images submitted to AS&T need to be processed differently, what are your thoughts?
