Mike who asked about the Collimater actually has a Moonlite CR-2 focuser so yes its worth an extra $30 or $40 for a decent laser IMO. I am actually about to buy a Feathertouch focuser with the collimateable base for over $AUS 500 and if it has slop in it I am not going to be too happy. FWIW my GS 2" focuser has minimal slop because I shimmed it, but a Feathertouch it aint.
