Hello,
I intend to upgrade the focuser on my Orion Optics SPX 250 newton. Will the JMI EV-2 be a good upgrade? I am not into imaging yet, so I don't need a 1:10 microstep for now. If I will need it, I will upgrade it at a later day. EV-1 is too expensive for me right now.
What is your opinion on this focuser? Will it be fine for high power planetary and lunar observing? Is it a good buy (I am asking, because I can get one used in "as new" condition)?
