Tony, people who own expensive eyepieces often wont bring them out for public viewing nights.
It just takes one kid or clueless noob to stick their grubby finger on the eyelens saying "is this where I look?" and the good stuff never comes out again for the public. Similarly women wearing mascara make a mess of eyepieces.
