edit: I quite like #3 - although I'd have been tempted to shoot portrait rather than landscape mode on this.

I don't mean to come across over-zealous but...
Did you miss "I took these with my
HTC phone (not the pinnacle in photographic equipment)" .
That is what I based my critic on. He has done very well considering his camera is out of action and he doesn't have a DSLR. I'm sure he would meet our expectations further giving better equipment...
My assesment stands, I think it is an amazing effort for the equipment used...
