Not a bad image Matt, colour needs some adjustment in my opinion but other than that the processing seems ok. I think you are finding that Brisbane (as I found living there 20 odd years ago) that seeing there is always on the ordinary side. It is indeed rare when the seeing is co-operating. The reason being that the jet stream parks over that region during winter and the interaction with the jet stream and the layers below tends to make for fast seeing. The wind sheer is quite steep there.
Anyway, you make the best of a bad situation. Well done.
