I have a 3.5 yr old granddaughter and I thought she might be a little young yet. I was waiting till she was a little older, but maybe I shouldn't wait.

Bill, the chair looks really good. I'm definately going to make one.
Hi Molly,

My 3.5 year old really liked it. I showed him Jupiter, an open star cluster that looked a bit like a man to him (I think it was M6 or M7?) and Omega Centauri.

He liked the man look alike star cluster and Jupiter the most, and I reckon he will really like looking at the craters on the moon because he is obsessed with dinosaurs and knows that they were wiped out by an asteroid strike which makes craters

I used a wide view eyepiece which someone else on the forum recommended to do as it stays in the field of view longer. I tried to make sure that I didn't get too carried away though and stopped as soon as he was getting bored

Kind regards

Ant
