At 1kg, it's the same weight as the 31 Nagler.
Both are lightweight compared to the 1.36kg weight of the Meade 30mm UWA or the 1.42kg weight of the Celestron 31mm Axiom LX.
I may not recall correctly, but I think there's a Rodenstock (sp?) 40mm that's even heavier.
At 1kg, you have to be very careful about balancing and have a stiff focuser.
