Celtic names. Try bean saidh ;-) I'll give you a tip - it's a very famous Irish mythical monster. And no, it doesn't sound anything like it's spelt. Gaelige has 2 sets of consonants, 2 sets of vowels. Depending on the vowel type, it'll change the way the consonant is pronounced. Certain combinations of consonants have a certain sound as well - fleadh is pron. flag (with a short a, but long l).

Another well known Irish line:

cead mile failte (I'm too lazy to do my accents, gimme a break).

Troy - Pyxis was the only one to catch me out from that site. If you can, get the 3 volume set of Burnham's celestial guides - might be slightly outdated in some areas, but wonderful books imho. Robert goes into Constellations, history, pronunciation, etc.
