And, that's a fair amount of time you've spent (sub-wise) on this object too!
I've been considering getting an OIII filter in order to create synthetic RGBs like this with the 40D. Already have the Ha 12nm filter - astronomik produce an OIII and a SII clip in filter.
Do you have a link to the Ha and OIII images used to make your image?
