Very nice shot.
If you have a tripod and a remote control for the camera, try taking some wide angle, long exposure shots. If you can get to a spot away from the city lights, even better. This will be much easier than trying to get a closeup of the planets.
It's also good practice in case you decide to upgrade to a telescope later.
