One of the biggest differences is the weight.
The 20d being a few hundred grammes heavier.
It's much more robust, if dropped, it bounces rather than cracks.
It also has Mirror Lockup, which is very handy at times.
But if you're reaching critical mass on your mount, the 350d would be the best choice.
