hi claude i have a lx90 meade all the same when collimating to see if needs to be set your scope up tonight and align it when all done put it on a nice star say arctures its sitting nice in the northern sky once focused twist the focuser so the star looks like a donut and there is a dark circle in the middle if the dark circle is in the centre then it doesnt need to be collimated if it is of to one side then it does
know on the front of the corrector plate there is either 3 knobs that can be twisted(bobs knobs)or 3 allen key screws or even maybe 3 phillips head screws theses hold and ajust the secondary mirror first make shore they are not loose once established that they arnt you can start look into the eyepiece and see what direction the blackdot is in the donut shape youve made with the star you need to adjust the screw on the opposite side of the dark dot and only move the screw a 1/4 of a turn at a time some times it is maybe 2 screws on the opposite side then go and have a look in the eyepiece you may have to do it several times take your time and do it slowly 1/4 turn at a time be patient
