Hey Paul - hope you don't mind, but I loaded your jpg into Astra Image, split into separate colour planes, deconvoluted and recombined.
Do you think this is an improvement? You should try this on your original large image, it'll work much better.
edit: oops, didnt see that second moon when I did this! I've re-done it, and maybe improved a bit more...
