Rev-heads 2: Ferrari 348TS...first day out

Took the new toy into the southern highlands via Macquarie Pass (for non NSW residents, a it's tiny version of the Stelvio pass in Italy)

Ticked a few motoring bucket list items on the way

1) Acceleration can be your friend! Safely passed a significant line cars (all stuck with Sunday dawdler in the front).. pretty much in scan seconds, to be back on the left well before a very limited break in double white lines ended.

2) Came to the conclusion XR-6 ute, just ahead of me on MacQuarie pass was slow traffic... The 348 was simply on rails. No body roll. Fantastic brakes. Effortless acceleration. (but wife said..."let him go" )

3) Climbed Bulli Pass in 5th gear with acceleration to spare (and them some) but decided speed limits had best be observed before I got too carried away.

While not a bucket list item....seemed to me that some P-platers seem oblivious to
a) Speed limits (even my "fuzzy" ones )

b) A 348TS has a terminal velocity just shy of 300km/hr. Eastern Creek or German Autobahn. Cool. Southern Freeway? ..definitely not the venue.

Lastly, even in a Ferrari you can drop back to the left lane after overtaking. 'Tis a pity many Kindergarten Oz drivers are oblivious to this simple freeway courtesy.

My only regret? I should have acquired one of these superb machines years ago!
