You know, any large bit of space debris has to hit either the US or Mexico. That's because the one and only brave country, where all the heroes live (according to Hollyweird) is the US. The US always saves the day. Plus, they have to hit Mexico as an alternative because that's where the asteroid hit that wiped out the dinosaurs, and the powers that be in Hollyweird deem that Mexico...being just oil fields, old buidlings and people taking siestas...is just the modern equivalent of a dinosaur, anyway
