You'd be one of the very few who has such a good range of science subjects in their study.
I've had so many arguments with archaeologists/Egyptologists etc, over the years it's not funny. Some of them are the most arrogant lot I've ever come across. But you get that in all sciences, though. People with reputations and positions to protect who'll do anything to keep things the way they are. I don't bother debating with them anymore, it's not worth it. BTW...I'm a geologist and I'm also doing my Masters in astronomy now. Hopefully go onto a PhD at some point.
Don't get me wrong, I know a lot of really good people who are archaeologists who will debate things vigorously, but in a proper manner. I like that and I get on well with them. What I don't like is the smarmy know it all's and the ones who think they know the truth about reality, who just dismiss you out of hand, attack you personally and then act like it's OK to do what they do and that it's their imperative to denounce all "heretics" to the truth as they (and as everyone should/will/must) see it.
That's not being a scientist....that's being like a priest. We are the ones who know and all you of the "great unwashed" should do as we say and believe everything we tell you.
