Troy,
Thanks for the help, I just turned my computer on for the first time since last night and plugged the LPI in and the light came on and stayed on. Then the install prompt came up and said do I want to install the driver for the LPI so I said yes and it installed and said "Trust webcam 14823" and once that happened the red light on the back of the LPI went out.
I am at a loss as to what is going on. Why would it have to reinstall the drivers?
Maybe if I hadn't said yes to the install it might have worked.
Very frustrating when all I want to do is take a picture of the moon.
