Hay JJ, I'm puzzled by the reference to USB. Is yours a wireless router or not? If it's wireless (it will have a little antenna or 2 sticking out the back) then you can forget USB and the like and just use the Wi-Fi on your laptop. Ring me if you need help setting it up. Or if all else fails, I can drop by and set it for you.
