The first pic was with the lens on min zoom (about 18mm) so is a wide angle shot, the clouds co operating nicely
The polarizer helps make the sky a deeper blue than otherwise.
Ironically most of the tin seemed to be in fairly good condition, not a lot of rust. The ocean was only a few 100 metres away too. Apparently the occupants get unlimited fresh water from a bore, they say the water is very clean having been filtred by all that sand. Sounds like an idyllic life style.
