It's a shame the weather turned sour on you all early in the night.
It was a good thing I didn't go up there to the PC - I'm sure that there would have been a hidden protest from my wife if I said I had tried to infer that I'd make it up there later in the night. As it turned out she and a mate's wife had organised a belated combined "80th" birthday party for me who turned 40 in April and my mate who turned 40 in June. They had been planning it for months and purposely made it a surprise by being so far from our actual birthdays. Talk about sneaky.
.None of knew what was going on till we got there and all our old mates started showing up saying 'happy birthday'. It was a great night.
