Lost in space, Helix Nebula. Something diferent from my usual shot of the eye of God. Taken with Takahashi FSQ106ED at 530mm and QHY8 cooled CCD. The image started out being 30 X 10minute exposures but again high cloud spoiled the imaging run meaning I only ended up with 9 X 10 minute exposures worth salvaging for the stack.
The weather hasn't been kind but this is one of the problems with living in the mountains.
Not one of my best images but it shows up the wider field this focal length delivers on smaller objects. Still very impressed with the whole setup. I need a new mount so anyone throwing out a Paramount ME, give me a yell.
