I had exactly the same experience. Posted a couple of images over a year ago and never heard a thing back.
I edited my post before posting in the other thread because I didn't want to sound too negative, but, I basically said that it would have been nice to have had the email acknowledged or told simply, "sorry, this didn't make the cut, better luck next time."
Having said that, I'll try again.
