Noise and fogging, although i have recently been messing around with settings, and can now get 6 min subs with just about the same noise. I also use an Astronomiks CLS clip in filter for EOS cameras, and i find that it does a great job of blocking LP, but if there are any brightish stars near by, then the whole background gets over exposed, again i am tackling this by shooting objects when they get near the zenith.

its a work in progress, that frought with learning things, and coated with a healthy does of frustration.
