Got some clear skies recently, first in a very long time. Unfortunately, I was only able to get two exposures of Omega before I was engulfed with endless hardware problems.
Making this a night I never want to experience again.
The bluetooth disconnected after I tried to connect remotely to the observatory computer. Power plug becoming loose when the mount was slewing. Me not realising the power plug was disconnected. Me trying to work out exactly what was wrong. Me scratching me head for 45 minutes. Me restarting the computer several times. Me finding that the power plug was loose. The USB hub deciding to stop doing its job. The Moon rising in the east....
To cut the story, I was only able to capture two 5 minute subs. Not ideal but what can you do?
Not a bad result considering.
Sorry I had to get it off my chest.
