As I said, the egging was very minor, and well, yes, the fix alters the nebulosity. I would also ignor such minor egging, but your sooo easy to wind up I couldnt resist

Ive thought about this star fix and am of 2 minds, be interested to see what you think.
Eggy stars are just an obvious indication of a whole image being blured in the eggy direction, not just the stars, so youd think that the blended move fix would kind of deblur and tighten the neb too, where it should be. I understand of course this is artificial, not recommended, cheating et al. And it gets very ugly very quickly if over done, artifact city.
But, for tiny adjustments (perhaps less than what I did to yours), Im wondering if it actually improves the image slightly, tightening it up, especially blured transitions and edges in cloud structures.
Dont dismiss it out of hand Mike, Im just talking about one of many slight adjustments one makes to try and eek out the best of sometimes less than perfect capture conditions.
