Yeah, it's called Winter and it's been happening for millions of years
... I understand your frustration but I hope that you are only joking with your frustration, but it does not worrying, frustrate, annoy or upset me in the slightest, because... I have a life. A life filled with other pursuits to potter around with, as well as family to be with. There is nothing like spending time with the family on a cold, cloudy, Winter's evening by the fire. I have never complained about the weather and never will. There is no reason to let the weather get you all wound up like that, seriously. There is so much more in life than astronomy. Some clear nights will eventually come, until then, go read a book or something.
p.s. I love the Moon, and enjoy it in any phase. Moonlit nights are so tranquil and calming. We should be thankful our planet even has a satellite to study, observe and admire. And it's only a few nights of the month that all you imagers are inconvenienced. Not much in the scheme of things, is it?
