I wonder why Perth gets smaller hail stones? Anyone?

Don't get a lot of hail over this way, and when we do it's usually pretty small 2 to 5mm dia stuff.
Only other time I've seen a hail 'storm' was when I was in high school, normal sized hail but seemed endless.... ended up looking like an inch of snow on the ground, all us kids were allowed to run out of class and play with it ofcourse.
Just had another hail shower, just 'normal' sub-pea sized stuff tho. |
