The collimation looks ok to me, regarding waterproof, they are rubber coated, but i couldnt say as to wether they where fully waterproof or not.
If you mean, can they withstand humidity and rain etc, i shoudl think without problem, if you mean can they be used underwater, well i couldnt say. But if i knew they could, i would be asking alot more for them
