DIY scope storage case

Getting close to finishing my latest project, a storage case for the TSA. I just need to fit in some foam blocks to secure the finder scope and accessories. Also could use a lid restraint to stop the lid folding all the way back.

It is mostly 1/4 inch marine ply. I painted it with water based house paint. By a stroke of luck the green is almost a match for the Takahashi green as used on their cast metal parts. It was left over from a job in our front entrance. (British Paints tropical moss).

It is not perfect but definitely better than nothing.
